Lake Johanna Spring Meeting March 7

Please join your lake neighbors on Thursday, March 7 at 7pm for the Lake Johanna Improvement Society annual member meeting!  Justin Townsend will be talk about Zebra Mussels, which were discovered last summer in Lake Johanna. See Justin's bio and topic summary below.

When: Thursday, 3/7/2018, 7:00pm

Where: Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes Fellowship Room, 3220 Lake Johanna Blvd, (use the north Care Center entrance between the old and new buildings).

Agenda: Brief business meeting (board member elections, dues collection, any other necessary business), followed by Justin Townsend's presentation.

Justin Townsend has worked in natural resources for 10 years at various county parks managing terrestrial and aquatic invasive species. He has hands-on AIS experience including mechanical harvesting, SCUBA assisted hand pulling, and weevil bio-control for Eurasian watermilfoil, with policy experience such as lake planning as well. In his current role as Ramsey County AIS Coordinator with the Ramsey County Parks he hopes to bring a whole lake health approach to invasive species management.
